Attendance

Attendance at Stanwell Fields

At Stanwell Fields, we believe that school education lays the vital foundation of a child’s life. With regular school attendance children make good progress, become successful learners and achieve their potential. As a staff, we encourage parents and carers to ensure that the children in our care achieve maximum possible attendance and any problems that prevent this are identified and acted on promptly.

We take absence very seriously at Stanwell Fields. During term times your child should attend school everyday unless he or she is ill or the school has authorised their absence. Irregular school attendance has a serious impact on a child’s academic and social development. It is your legal responsibility as parent/carer to ensure that the child in your care attends school everyday, and that they get up in the morning in time to arrive punctually

Weekly Rewards for 100% Attendance

  • Pupils will be awarded stickers at the end of each week for all those children with 100% attendance.
  • Each week the class with the best attendance will receive the Attendance Trophy in Celebration Worship and a Marvellous Me message will be sent home.
  • For each week of full attendance pupils will earn a stamp on their passport to success. When they have collected  6 stamps, they will be able to visit our Attendance Emporium and claim a prize or they can save up their stamps to claim a bigger prize later in the year.
  • At the end of each half term the class with the best attendance will get to wear MUFTI as a reward and congratulated in Celebration Worship.
